Sister Groove is the funk and soul heart of Westgroove: a show that can be driven by a resident selector or handed to a guest DJ without losing its musical character.
The strand can move from classic soul and hard funk into disco, jazz-funk, rhythm and blues, rare groove and newer records that understand where the sound came from.
What gets played
Heavy bass lines, sharp horns, great voices and records made to move people. Guest selectors with the right crates are welcome to bring their own angle to the groove.
